Newbie question - connecting bloom to a running database

Non technical user trying to get to grips with neo4j

I've got neo4j desktop installed and connected to a hosted database. I click on the blue down arrow on the database and select neo4j bloom.

Bloom loads and tells me it couldn't find an active database in neo4j Desktop despite me loading Bloom from an active database. Does this only work on local databases, or am I don't something else unbelivably silly?

Hello @simon3!

Apologies for the late reply. You can only use Bloom on Desktop for a local database. The Bloom plugin allows you to connect to remote databases, but a license is required for that.

I hope that helps.

Cheers,
