Desktop won't connect after "Enterprise" uninstall

My trial for "Enterprise ED." ended and so I deleted it. Desktop Ed has never connected for me, but oddly, the customized ICIJ DESKTOP download starts right up. I have no other servers running. Is this some dependency hangover thing? I'm on windows. Thanks

I suggest that (unless you have a database already created that you need to access), that you remove all files related to Neo4j, download the latest Desktop using your social media credentials. Before you install, make sure that you have Powershell V3 installed. Hopefully you can then install and use Neo4j Desktop.
