Oracle Java vs OpenJDK for Neo4j Enterprise in the cloud?

neo4joe
Node Clone

I see that the Neo4j Desktop app bundles Zulu OpenJDK 11 with it, not Oracle's Java. Neo4j Desktop runs Neo4j Enterprise.

From that I would assume that there's no problem with choosing OpenJDK over Oracle's JDK for running Neo4j Enterprise in the cloud.

Does anyone have a reason that Oracle's Java is the better, stronger, safer choice?

Neo4j is supported on both JDKs. I can't help you with why Oracle's JDK would be better, but Neo4j will work great with it, so either way is OK. We generally bundle OpenJDK for licensing reasons, it shouldn't be interpreted as being anything problematic with Oracle's JDKs.
