Nodes not displaying text in Browser Graph

I am not seeing any text on the nodes in my graph. I also don't see the bars on the pane that allow me to configure the display. Is this somehow not enabled unless my graph has labels? I would expect that the default behavior would show the "name" property if it exists? Thanks for your help!
