We would like to know which particular feature you find is missing as we are currently actively developing Aura and this would help us understand what is most important to deliver to our community and customers.
With regards to migrating the database, there is currently no self-service option, but a feature to download a Dump of the database is scheduled to be released very soon thus enabling you to achieve this independently.
