New from Maryland, US

Hi,

My name is Tom. I'm from the US, PG County MD. I am trying to use neo4j to analyze twitter information. I am 3 days in, I am completely clueless and I'm basically bashing my head against the wall. I am hoping to get some answers here.

Hi tdprofessional1021,

There are many resources available online such as on Lynda.com and Neo4j's graph academy that you can use to get your head around GDBs and Cypher query languages.

The most important resource to get started would be the movie database and code sample codes available on the Neo4j desktop. Just type the commend :play start in the neo4j desktop or browser and you can start learning graph databases by easy examples. The :play movie-graph command will take you to a movie graph database. This is interesting way to start learning. Cheers
