Aloha from Hawaii. I'm a node.js developer working on a large project to cure chronic disease in low-income populations with personalized nutrition in Hawaii and beyond.

First, a bit about the company:
Sustain Hawaii (website being updated) is a research-oriented, educational non-profit dedicated to helping transform our capacity for enduring self-reliance by balancing ecological, socio-cultural and economic needs through community education, innovative practice and advocacy.
As CTO (Chief Technology Officer) of Sustain Hawaii, I am currently leading the development of the "Healthies" technology platform and mobile app. Its main purpose is to cure 87 chronic diseases with personalized nutrition. The program involves health insurers such as Kaiser Permanente, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, HMSA, their group health plans, local farmers, consumers, and food assistance agencies and beneficiaries, in a virtuous cycle that funnels health insurance money and food assistance funds to healthy eating, healthier people, reduced insurance claims, and a more sustainable local economy.
We've been using neo4j as the main database for about 2 years.
