I can't find how to change my community password. There's no option for that in personal preferences. Is it possible to change password?
thanks, ari
Hi Ari
You can use the command in the Neo4j browser command line.
:SERVER change-password
The version is neo4j community 3.5.13.
neo4j-community-3.5.13 koji$ ./bin/neo4j start Active database: graph.db Directories in use: home: /Applications/neo4j-community-3.5.13 config: /Applications/neo4j-community-3.5.13/conf logs: /Applications/neo4j-community-3.5.13/logs plugins: /Applications/neo4j-community-3.5.13/plugins import: /Applications/neo4j-community-3.5.13/import data: /Applications/neo4j-community-3.5.13/data certificates: /Applications/neo4j-community-3.5.13/certificates run: /Applications/neo4j-community-3.5.13/run
Thanks, but I ment this Community website, not Communty Edition of Neo4j. And by saying that, I realize that I can change my password if I select 'forgot my password' during login. :)
Hi Ari, I read the question incorrectly. However, it was good because it was resolved.
It is pretty pathetic, especially two years after this post to see that it's still not possible to do it from one's own account.
If you still need to do it, or if anyone else ever need to, just log off then claim for lost password. then you will be able to reset it.
