I'm shopping for a Neo4j hosting provider. Ideally a SAAS type of service. I don't want to have to worry about taking backups, or diskspace, and monitors memory usage and server load and alert when there's an issue. Who do you use for your hosting? How many people manage their Neo4j DB themselves?
For hosted SaaS, you can find some current options here: https://neo4j.com/developer/neo4j-cloud-hosting-providers/
Of Neo4j customers, they're using a mix of Amazon, Google, and Azure, with a split too between those running on-prem, and those managing themselves in the cloud. For cloud management, there's again a split between those running in VMs, and those who are running neo4j on top of kubernetes. I would say most commonly, people are managing neo4j themselves. So it's really quite a mix of different options, depending on the app guarantees that each person needs.
Hosted SaaS is a good option for simplicity, but of course you typically get less control over the instance, which is both a pro and a con, depending on how you look at it.
