As of v1.7.0-rc02 of Seabolt there seems to be an issue compiling on Arch Linux even after setting OPENSSL_ROOT_DIR.
Not sure if this is an issue with Arch Linux being a rolling release distro and Arch is using an incompatible version of OpenSSL.

Was wondering if there was a way to check to see if the driver connected to the neo4j server when the driver was initialized, that way I can throw an error or panic when the application cannot connect to the server.

Currently there is the HTTP interface that a wrapper could be built around, then there is the unmaintained community driver. Sadly if the Go community wants a solid Neo4j Go driver we'll have to do it ourselves.
