Currently this is not supported as part of the Neovis.js library. This has been a requested feature and something we hope to add in the future.
The first step would involve exposing the event triggers from the underlying vis.js library. Please track the feature request here:

I think it would need to be implemented in neovis. but there are solutions out there for vis.js who do it so it should be possible.
