Neo4j Desktop unable to establish remote connection: Neo4jError: WebSocket connection failure

Trying to resolve this (apparently common) error. I am trying to connect to the "remote" database per the screen capture. That is, I have established a database on the community version (neo4j-community-4.4.4) and I tried to connect to this database using my desktop version. And it always fails like this:
