I'm getting a "Failed to read database settings: Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, open ..." error when trying open my database

I get the following error when trying to load a database I was using yesterday: "Failed to read database settings: Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '/Users/myHomeDirecotry/Library/Application Support/Neo4j Desktop/Application/neo4jDatabases/6d4aac27-e27c-4239-9456-021abcf92d00/installation-4.1.1/conf/neo4j.conf'"

Any idea on what is going on?

I have the same issue.
Project failed to remove: Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, readlink 'C:\Users.... an online directory on OneDrive'

So far - I have tried (3 or 4 times)
uninstall, shut down PC, reinstall
look in the registry to find where the path is being stored
turned off internet and then install (in case it asks me for an alternate path)
NOTHING is helping. Any ideas?

SOLVED! I deleted the .Neo4jDesktop which I assumed would have been deleted during the uninstall when I said "YES" to "Remove desktop files" - but that was not the case. All good now.

p.s. Also had to remove all traces of Neo4j in AppData
