Full copy database files to new neo4j instance with empty database not work

Hello, I am new to Neo4j. I faced with a problem when I used the community neo4j (v3.5.9):
I full copied existed database files to new neo4j instance with empty database. However, the query ends with empty result when I test the new neo4j instance with a match query. It seems that the neo4j does not know the change of underlying files. That's why? What am I missing？ Thanks for any input.

is the new instance also running Neo4j 3.5.9 or another/different version? if not 3.5.9 then what version?

Same version, both of them are v3.5.9.
