Hi everyone, I'm excited to be jumping into graph databases and Neo4j. I am finishing up my degree in Library and Information Science at San Jose State University. I am also a web developer. I'm interested in how graph databases can assist in libraries and archives and help make connections with linked open data / RDF. I am new at this and would love to connect with like minded people!
Right now I'm excited to be working on a project for the Black Lunch Table audio archive of oral histories. They have some previous code that attempted to make network connections between subjects discussed in different interviews (here). I want to migrate the project to use a graph DB and neo4j seems great for developers. I am interested in the Neosemantics plugin. Not sure how easy or hard it would be to publish linked open data.
