graphQl plugin is not clickable

Check and see if the instance is up and running. I've had some issues with that before. You may also want to check and see if you've got offline enabled in settings.

the instance up and running: i can put a release from the graphql repo in its plugins folder, and then these procedures will even appear in the list of available ones. but when i try to call them, the answer will be:
Failed to invoke procedure graphql.schema: Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: 'org.neo4j.graphdb.DependencyResolver org.neo4j.kernel.internal.GraphDatabaseAPI.getDependencyResolver()'

It sounds like you may have a corrupted instance or something of that nature. Are you using a local copy of neo4j desktop? Connecting to a remote instance?
